Generate the Table of Contents in Word

During the writing of my dissertation, I used some nice functions in Word to make the writing easier. And I notice that some people don't know these functions, so I'll present one here.

One of them is the generation of Table of Contents. With this function, you don't have to care about the update of the table (new sections / number of pages), it'll update for you (if you ask it of course).

To use this function, you need to apply a style (Heading 1 / Heading 2 ....) on the section/sub section titles.
Another way to select the section/sub section titles is to do it in the "Outline View", and define the level of each part of the text: the section titles are level 1, the sub section titles are level 2, and the body aren't specified (body text).

Then to generate the table of contents: in the ribbon "References" > "Table of Contents" in Word 2010 // in the ribbon "Document Elements" and choose the model to use in Word 2011
